Gül Aktürk is an architect and a researcher in the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering at TU Delft. She did her PhD in climate adaptation of cultural heritage sites in the Faculty of Architecture at TU Delft. She is working in work package 3 of I-Tree 2.0-NL project. As part of her research, she is working on speculative design of the urban green spaces of Marine terrain in Amsterdam with MVRDV in addition to drafting a new format of public procurement with the inclusion of green criterias.
